Are there any (Western) Canadians who know of a good source for high-performance / high-speed driving training? I'm not interested in becoming a professional driver (yet ;] ) but I don't like the thought of the trial-and-error method of learning to drive fast. Precision driving comes with both ample experience and training, but I'd like a place to start.

There is such a club in Western Canada, it’s called Performance Driver’s Club [PDC] and it’s based out of Vancouver. We do ~ 15 events a season, mainly at Mission, Seattle and Portland; this year we have a two day event coming up in Calgary too. It’s a great club with a huge variety in both cars and participant driving levels. All the drivers are placed in different run groups based on driving ability, which is assessed by the instructors. You can run events with or without an instructor, your choice. I’m not going to bore you with tons of details [unless you want me to], but if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

I recently found bothfeetin.com and have been checking out their products. For the price I don't think that you can beet their products. Whether you are just looking to improve your day-to-day driving skills or your prepping for racing school.

Take a look at their free download:
