hey there, I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I emailed cobb to ask them and haven't heard anything back from them yet. I was just wondering if the cobb accessport affects a aftermarket alarm/starter. I pick up my new cobb next wed when I get home from work and I thought I'd check before I went ahead with it. I've installed CompuStars into my 2006 WRX, 2010 WRX, and 2011 STI, a friend's 2005 WRX, and many other WRX's and all had AccessPorts and none have had a problem. There just isn't anything that would affect each other.
Yea I wasn't too sure but I kinda figured it wouldn't matter, thanks

Let me elaborate on my original reply...

Any remote start or alarm or remote start/alarm that is installed will not have any side effects from interacting with an AccessPort. Likewise, an AccessPort will not have any side effects from interacting with a remote start /alarm.
