The EVOs interior is a disaster.

Wow, the interior of that evo looks as bad as my 1990 toyota tercel. Well, maybe not that bad but pretty aweful...

Christ, the seats don't even match the car. And what is with the carpet? It doesn't even look like the car is finished - looks like they threw the car together just before the show. Not that I was even interested in the EVO, but if I had a downpayment on it and not the STi, I would dislocate my knee after repeatidly kicking myself in the ass.

I like the evo steering wheel better. i wish our sti had the s202 steering wheel, that is cool.

The Evo is horrible inside...really cheap looking, but you know its an extreme machine...designed to do just that..be extreme. I think its too much for me..I like a little civility.

I mean inside. The interior of the Evo looks like a cheap Kia or Daewoo. I'm sorry to say that b/c I like the car. The STi does indeed look much classier inside. Some parts of the STi still look cheap like all the gray plastic..but both of these cars are extreme cars so I can overlook the interior.

I was at the LA auto show yesterday where i had the opportunity to sit in an evo. I must say that those recaro seats are awesome. One feels secure and in place when seated in one. All that is missing is the 5-point seat belts.

As far as the interior goes, it is not as cheap as one thinks. Sure, they cut costs here and there by using plastic but it isn't that bad. When i develop my role of film, i will have a few pics of the evo for the forum.
