my dealership is saying each dealership will receive 1 sti every 4-6 wks with the first one coming in june what are you hearing

Hey there! I can tell you, being a Subie dealer, that no one knows yet how many we are getting. It's kind of driving me nuts too and I just sell the darn things! *lol* Subaru hasn't and won't tell us anything until probably mid-April is my guess!

Nothing official, as it has been said, but my dealer said this in an email...

It does look like we will start seeing them at the dealership sometime in June instead of August like I beleive I told you. As far as the allocation for sold orders they are giving each dealer 1 of their sold orders until the 300 STi's per month are distributed then they will give the dealer their 2nd order.

I take that as all the #1s will get an STi, then all the #2s.....doesn't really seem fair to the people who are in the #10 position but have had a deposit down for months and months.

Hey there Rob! Yeah, I appolagise. I do know that we are supposed to start getting them in June. To my knowledge thought, and that doesn't mean I'm not wrong cause I am alot *lol*, Subaru hasn't told anyone how many we'll be getting and how soon besides the standard math of: 75% WRX/ 25% total Sub's for a 13 month period from April '02 thru March '03. I try to keep my finger up Subaru's butt so that when I feel an internal movement I know it before everyone else smells it!

Anyway, I'll try to do some more calling around to see what I can dig up!
