Bodykits for sti

anyone have the set of defi gauges installed into their sti?

I'm interested to see the humped gauge pack installed....I love that look.

I have the Defi BF Boost, Oil Temp & Pressure and Defi gauge pod.
They aren't installed yet, maybe in a few weeks when the car gets here.

I did power up the Boost gauge to see how cool it looked doing the on/off dance. They are white backlit so they don't match the STi primary cluster. Not a big deal to me since the center console stuff is a non-matching green.

No problem. Since my STi isn't supposed to be here until July 15th, maybe I'll mount them in a friend's 04 WRX and snap some pics.

It was a dumb joke, those weren't mine. I would never bolt the gauges to the dash of a brand new STi.

Blitz are nice but they are very noisy and don't even come close to matching the STi gauges. The Defi's are precision instruments made by NS (Nippon Seiki) and are almost identical to STi gauges. I do like the buttons on the Blitz gauges though.

Power: How to be sure

Ok, I finally got the car and the gauges are installed.
Only the boost sensor is connected so far, but that's another story.

The lighted pics aren't the best but it's as good as my camera will do.

Blitz gauges are cheap, nowhere near Defi quality.

I showed my defi gauges to a friend who has blitz gauges in his Supra.
He's going to dump the Blitz gauges for Defi.

The Defi BF gauges are my favourite. I have the BF Boost gauge sitting in my house now.

No the defi bf's only come in the super white color.

edit: I was wrong defi has made the debut of the red/red defi bf gauges at the toyko auto salon. Scoop by gruppe-s on nasioc.com.

really pisses me off that I hadn't waited to get these, plus they are releasing a cu ver. 2.5 also.

I have the Defi bf oil pressure gauge also, and I was wondering if you found a way to disable the annoying beeping when you have your ignition to accessories on position. Seems to be a warning light to let you know the oil pressure is at 0 psi, but even when the car isn't even on. It is annoying the hell outta me cuz I can't even listen to the radio ne more while getting gas or something, cuz of that infernal beeping. Ne help would be great

Also just to let you know, if you go to the defi english site and fill in the form, send them pics of your setup and your car, they will send you a cool alum. defi badge. Mines on the way
