I just talked to a dealer that said he just found out they can actually order STi's for people. pick your color, options, put down a deposit, and pick it up when it arrives.

has anyone else heard of this? is he just pulling my leg? is anyone here in contact with SOA that can confirm this?

if it's true I would love to do it, but it sounds too good to be true.

No....that's what many of us did back last year sometime. We are getting our cars now....you'll probably have to wait several months at least in order to do the same.

Yes, this is called a Presale. It is the typical way an individual orders the exact car he wants at a small-over-INVOICE price. Often this is done through the Fleet Manager, or the like. I would like to know the name of the dealer and the person you spoke to. Please PM me ASAP.
