Let's give this a shot. If you know of dealers who have extra STi's at MSRP (or below) please list them here. Hopefully someone can find their STi using this list.

Who: Dealer name
Where: Location/address, contact info (phone), etc
What: STi color combo, any options already added (hopefully none)


Unfortunately, I can't get the ball rolling on this one. :(

Hello, anybody out there? SOA are you taking notice that your fans are getting strangled? I think you have put too small a restrictor plate on this market. Can you give us a break by increasing supply a bit?

I would just like to point out that i kinda like the way the production numbers are so low. Part of the excitement of the STI is the fact that we are unlikely to pull up next to another STI very often. When we do, it will be refreshing to exchange smiles knowing that the guy in the STI next to you understands =)

I think many people modify their car to to me unique -which we wont have to do.

I have to wait a year to get mine, but in the mean time, I can hook you guys up from where I searched. Mainly, people that live in PA/NJ/NY area.

- I'm actually going there later today. NO WAIT LIST. Right now, the only one they have there is a Blue/Gold one. They are getting one or two every month. All STI's are at MSRP. I'm headed down there later today. Gotta goto the insurance office which is 5 minutes away. :)

- He didn't give me a name. They are getting 2/month. If you sign on right now, they will add you to the wait list, but you'll be on there until Sept/Oct. All of them are selling at MSRP. BUT, there is one from a Philadelphia dealer that is shipping up to them. They are having trouble selling it!!!??? HOW!!?? I think he said it was a silver with silver rims(not positive, I think). It has the security system, wheel locks, Turbo Gague and the auto dimming mirror. Sticker price for that is $32,995. All STI's are at MSRP.

Quality Subaru in Wallingford, CT has just received a blue STi with gun metal wheels. I just bought my silver one there. The service is outstanding, I can't say enough about how good they are to deal with. They will selll the STI AT MSRP...that's right....same thing I got MSRP. here's their info.... I would highly recommend Scott Putnam at Subaru.net (Bloomington Subaru- Mn.) He was straight with everything and was at MSRP, no BS add ons.
I had an order placed with him, when an STI became available at Classic Subaru in Atlanta. Initially Classic was bumping prices also, but settled into MSRP. I took delivery from Classic in Atlanta, and the Minn. dealer (Scott) readily refunded my deposit. No hassles at either place.....These are awesome cars, but I was also willing to wait. They will be making more and I refused to pay a premium on a vehicle with more coming to the shores every month. These are not LIMITED editions, only limited by production output. Supply will catch up with demand. As a result of both of these dealers I was able to take delivery on June 1st, instead of waiting until September time frame. Some of the dealers still do not ubnderstand that their customers are usually more informed than they are. The fastest way to lose a sale is for the salesman to talk cars with enthusiast who already have more information. I have found very few salesmen that actually know the product they are selling. Buyers of the STi know exacly what they are buying, or they wouldn't be buying it.
Good luck and hold out for the deal you want. If you want one, you will get one. It is only a matter of when. Again, Scott at Bloomington was great, and Classic in Atlanta came through in the end. Ask for George Foster at Classic. (tell him the guy who traded the black WRX for the blue STi said he came through on the deal) :D

Just picked up my Saturday(8/02/03) paper and Balboa Subaru(San Diego, CA)is offering 3 STi's at MSRP this weekend only!

Found it late Saturday so I'll get up early Sunday and go over there................

I have two STi's in stock right now. One is Black w/ silver wheels and the other is Blue w/ silver wheels. None of them have been test driven. If you call and let me know you're from this forum, I'll sell you a new STi for MSRP.

If you are looking for a different color combo, let me know. We are the #3 volume Subaru dealership in the entire southeast United States (Mason-Dixon to the tip of Florida) so we get a terrific allocation and I should be able to hook you up with whatever you need.

We are located just 80 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA and about 200 miles west of Washington, DC with interstate highways leading straight to us from both cities.

Just give me a call (ask for Chris) or email me. I have received special training and have become a factory-certified STi sales consultant. And of course, I'll make sure that you have a fun and easy purchacing exprience.
