My dealer actually called me today and said a Subaru rep had been in and said that the STis were coming and that Subaru was actually taking orders for them. He invited me to put money down. Said they had no specs on them, but that sticker would be $32-33k. Anyone else got this?

He said $500 now. I don't feel like giving them an interest free loan before Subaru announces anything.

When I was at the NY Auto Show a few weeks ago, I asked the people at the Subaru booth if/when the STi was coming to the states. They told me March 2003, but didn't have any more info.

Well the release date is still TBA (but rumor does say early 2003). But they can at least let us know it's coming. That's what some dealers are waiting for before they start taking down payments.
