i know everyone suggests a AOS...

so far i have zero oil consumation...

i´m a little affraid of installing AOS because of that huuuuge amount of lines...

maybe a Killerb one... i try to make it as simple as possible... heard about freezing lines...
It's a "safe guard". In my experience, I've had little to no oil consumption both with and without one. I can't speak to the killerb AOS - they do make fantastic products... I have their header, oil pick up and baffle - but my IAG street series AOS has seen temps below -20C with wind chill without any issues.

One word of warning, the comp series which vents to the atmosphere drove me up the wall. The smell was extremely noticeable in stop/go traffic. I swapped to the street series for that reason and the smell was totally gone.

I rarely smell mine. OnCe in a great while with a warm engine when I walk up to it, but rarely.

I would love to do the killer b as I agree on the quality of their stuff...I am using the Crawford (if I didn't mention before lol) and works great AFIK, I shortened the lines quite a bit as I agree on the extra hose, but routing under manifold and slightly tighter corners shortened it and make it not as obtrusive looking...

so far my favourite would be the Crawford one...

easy install...
trying to get more information if it works properly on colder climates with a near stock engine...

searching for the holy grail. Daily drive, Track, cheap, efficent

I need to read this big thread about the engine venting :D

a few updates here...

took the rear wheel spacers off for Drifting. didnt wanted to cut my tires..
Did a Winterdrifttraining in Austria for 2 Days. Was a blast !
ambient Temp. was -12°C (10,4°F)
Oiltemp. Reached 115°C(239°F) after a few 2 gear runs :p
overall stayed like at like 105°
Remember, no Oilcooler at the moment.
Drank a little oil. thats ok after 2Gear rev limiter..

ordered a set of new wheels for summer, Protrack one 9x18 ET 50 with some 245/40R18 Michelin Pilot Supersports.
will post pics when they are on the car. Will try these with the spacers on... but well... i think i need some 10mm spacers and longer studs...
Powersteering cooler is ready for install.
Recaro PP also, new lower Base Frame also.
Heatshield(Blanket) also laying around, as a new Conecting pipe for the TMIC

I hope now i´ve got more time for the car...
Still a blast to drive! I Love it. could be a bit more louder :p

It was time for the Oilcooler.

I ordered Thermostatplate, Setrab Slimline 14row (second biggest size you can get)
some Fittings and Aeroquip lines.

fabbed up some Brackets. checked the routing and lines.
Time for getting the last bits.
Next is oil change and install time!

NICE!!! I did exactly that but using the standard Setrab core.

It is super effective in that location and I think it is because the upper grill is actually a duct.

Finally!

Installed! Oil Change with 5w40 Motul 300v. about 6l/ 6,3 US Quarts.
Massive Cooling effect!
normal Operating Temp. without cooler would be 90° C/194° F
now i´m running 72°C/163°F
under highspeed load around 85 °C/185°F
under Rallyestage driving max 90°/ 194°F

i will try a different Thermostat to get the temp. up

Back from The Track!

Booked a Open Pitlane Trackday on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Installed Brake Cooling, flushed the Brake Fluid with New Motul RBF660
Installed my 4 Point Schroth Harness, put everything in the Back out of the Car.
Good to go!

Weight is ~1480kg (3262lbs) with Half Tank... -.-

Car did Great! No Oil Consumation, max. Temp. was 110° C(230°F) Oil Temp. Water around 90°C(194°F)
Brakes were fading, but worked, even 4 Laps in a row(35min).... Original Discs are now Shoot! :D

Tires and Suspension were spot on... love how it handles...

Pretty much in love with the car. Did a Drift Training on a Wet Racetrack.
While it handled pretty "neutral" to slight oversteer on the brakes on the Racetrack, I thought it would be hard to get the car into Drift.
But no, it was great! Frontaxle grip is great, Rear comes predictable and controlled on the brakes and turn in.
Very!!! pleased with my Setup.
it was great fun, Car handled great. pretty much no oil consumation. No need for more Power. I Loved it!

Rear right -0,5° :/

So i m getting adjustable Arms. Aaand i Try to fit EVO corse San Remo 8x18 et28... Hopefully they fit.... Wish me luck!
Edit: they do Not fit!!!
Not without bending the lip/,Fender
But et 48 should work without any Problem

Stay tuned!

i don´t know the exact ET but i think it´s et 38... Those Rally Wheels are soo f*** that i can´t see any inner Writings for ET :p

Now changed back to my Summer Setup...
Plan would be...
*installing new Brake Rotors and Pads, new fluid, Brembo Rotors, Pagid Pads, Motul Fluid
*installing rear Whiteline Camber arms to even out my rear Camber
*Classic oil change 5w40 300v Motul after soooo many Coldstarts and Winter
Gearbox Oilchange with Motylgear 75w90, Rear Diff 75w140 Gear Comp
*installing my Selfmade Duct for Transmission (AIR)Cooling.
*fully wash and polish in and outside... much needed...
*install new Exhaust Gaskets...

another Update:

did all the Maintance, Oil change, Brake Fluid, Clutch Fluid, Transmission, Rear Axle
New Brake rotors on the Front.
Air Cooling for Transmission
Finally Tackled the Bolts from the Calipers.... and... as i expected... 4 Calibers, 3 Seized/Snapped Bolts. So Helicoils and new Bolts
Installed Whiteline Rear Camber arms. final setup:

Front:

-2°20` Camber, 15` Toe in

Rear
-1° Camber, 8` Toe out.

did A Drift Event on wet Track. Pretty pleased with the setup. Now lets try it with a Go FAST Trackday :p

I always pull the ABS Fuse for Drifting... but my DCCD occaionally lights up with Diff Locking and no adjusting... only Restart can solve it.
Mostly when i spin out/ more than 180°
I´m worried is this because of Thermal issue?
DCCD in Auto and Sports mode suites the best for me.
