Do you have much clearance between the rear sway and the exhaust piping?

I think a dual tip muffler would look better. I also think it would look better if the bumper cover (or a diffuser like you mentioned) surrounded the tips.

 

I've always loved middle exit exhausts, but honestly it doesn't work on every car. The top car looks awful. It looks like a cartoon baby with one tooth.

I think a single exit exhaust is the best route for performance gains (both power gains and weight savings). However, am not feeling the center alignment. Did you do any type of dyno analysis? How loud is it?

It looks odd with that tip choice. I would have done a single wall tip. I applaud the DIY though.

I'd like to see a dual tip vertically mounted. Similar to the Ferrari California and Lexus ISF.

 

If your doing a diffuser and such then I would just go full on with the tip.

That's the best looking exhaust I've seen on a GR STI. That being said think it would look even better with a square'ish exhaust tip.

why not something the shape of the evo's above, integrated into the stock duffuser like this

 

Its because of the spare tire area.

In addition, I don't think there is a good solid places to mount hangers to keep them in place.

 

I'd like to see an oval tip, or an oval tip with two exhaust pipes.
