Got a VIN# approx. 1.5 weeks ago and was anticipating delivery this week. Wondering if anyone else in the area (who takes delivery thru RI) has heard anything...as the word thru my salesman yesterday wasn't too encouraging. Was really hoping to have it for this weekend - just wondering if anyone else has heard a recent ETA. (also - how SAD is it that NOBODY in CT has posted on this yet???)

Yeah amdmaxx - put the deposit down on 1/11! The 1st allocation was a blue/silver (I passed) - my order is for JBP/Silver. I know it's coming on the 2nd, have my VIN#, and am just dying for the car. It's thru a smaller dealership in the state, who I felt very comfortable with on the phone and in person. I knew it would probably come a little later than if I had ordered from one of the "big 'uns" - but I got it at MSRP and got my extended warranty w/zero deductible at cost....so it's certainly had its' benefits. Also going along on the PDI and fill-up! Worth waiting for IMO and THANKS for responding!

I was #3 on the list, then got bumped to #1 thanks to the first two guys having problems coming up with the $$$. So, I picked up my blue/silver (just as I ordered) back on June 20 - and had to park it for a week due to a business trip to Germany (actually visiting Audi production plant). Since then it's been an incredible joy to drive - tame and solid at low rpm, but the HP is just a twitch of the foot away. Also got mine at MSRP, dealer options included boost gauge, alarm, center armrest. My dealer got a second car in already, but it went to a NY buyer. I have seen one other one around town...

Picked it up Monday - the car is excellent. Having a bit of a tough time keeping it under 4k to be honest. Merging this a.m. I actually hit 4500 briefly (sort of forced to) and am up to 410 miles. I'm loving the car in every way. Installed sill plates last night and will do the mudflaps and pedal covers this weekend. I will see what I can do on pics when its all complete.
