Cool Goodies that come with the STi

One thing that really sticks out with the STi is the attention to detail... blue in the seats and doors, needle dance, cool key, red stitching, etc. I was wondering if that will follow through to the owner's manual/packet we will get with the car. How about a tool kit or something. Maybe a limited edition key chain, or something that only people who buy an STi can get. I think when you buy something like a corvette you get a packet with an owner's manual, video, cd case, pen, etc. I don't know exactly what you get but it's not just an owner's manual and thats it. I figured with the STi they would have to throw in some cool stuff. Maybe something that gives advice on how/when to use the DCCD or the water sprayer. A video would be nice. I just was wondering if anyone has an idea of what we might get. Does anyone know what you get when you buy one in Japan or other parts of the world lucky to already have an STi?

I think the special bonus you get when you buy the STi overseas is a really great car

I'll be surprised if the key and all that stick around for the USDM version. Like you said, there's already a ton of cool features.

Yes I agree, the new STI is very unique.... Dont know which is nicer, that or the new Evo.... The STI just seems to have a few more goodies...

That's cool, I was not really offended. I just didn't want anyone to think I was more worried about getting something that said STi on it than the actual car. I am sure most people were thinking the same thing when they read my post. I just don't know what else to talk about that has not already been beat to death. The other day I had to look in my Legacy owner's manual for something. It came in a little folder thing, nothing fancy, but thinking about some packets that I have seen other higher-end car's come with I started to wonder what the STi will come with.

I've actually been thinking bout the extra's: I wouldn't be surprized if things like a DVD on the car option, and coffee mugs are included... I figure that it would mostlikely be via the dealer though....not the factory. YES? NO?

MY local dealer, a chick, said that if I would take her for a ride in my STI when I get it she would throw in a "bonus" for me.

Shrug maybe she was talking about a t-shirt? 8)

Brembo brakes
BBS alloy forged wheels
short throw shifter
300 hp engine
Recaro seats
2-tone blue seats

Things I wish for:
Sunroof
VW/audi style fold out key

Does STi comes with alarm?

Last I read, it will not come with a security system standard, just keyless entry.

Actually, I just looked on http://impreza.subaru.com and the only mention of the keyless entry system appears on the WRX press release, not even the STi one.

However, keyless entry for the STi is in the "Official" specs PDF file that's floating around. I've never seen anything about a standard alarm or security system for either the WRX or STi. This is one of the things that worries me about cost. A decent stereo + security system could easily be $2k over the cost of the car + destination + tax + license.
