I didn't see the weight of the Spec C wheels- anybody know it? It better be DAMN light for 799.00 a piece.

And to think about potholes and stuff- NOOOOO! :(

Those O.Z. Superleggeras sure would look nice in 18" for summer...$349/ea.
no doubt. those will definately be on my list of mods. all-seasons for the oe wheels, summer for those sweet gold superleggeras.
Same here, not sure if I like the superleggeras or the prodrive ones though. I am also leaning towards the anthracite color. I have a lot of time to think about it though since I don't plan on doing anything till next spring.

Cool website. I looked at the the section with the exterior conversion to a MY03 STI. It costs $5,600 to get the STi exterior. Isn't this basically a difference in price between WRX and STi? I don't understand why would anyone do that instead of selling their WRX and getting the STi?

Does anyone know yet what the smallest size of wheels are that will fit over the front brakes? I will need to buy snow tires soon after getting it, and really don't want to have to get low profile ones, if at all possible.

Also, do you have to change out the brakes to put gravel tires on?

BBS = quality
forged = strong
forged alloy = light...

Now the math.. STi gets: quality, strong and light wheels.. = $$$$...
:)

So are the STi wheels really that good or is there another reason as to why they're so pricey, or are they really not that exspensive compared to wheels of the same caliber.

Wanna see quality wheels?
try forged Work Emotions and Volk TE37's.
..
True true about the TE-37's. They are my favorite wheel on the market. I have already ordered a set for my STI. Shod in Toyo Proxes T1-S.

Volk TE-37 18x7.5 5x100 bolt with 48mm offset. Gunmetal grey of course.
Toyo Proxes T1-S 235/40 x 4

$3,086.00 for the whole package. the rims where like $558.00 a rim(and that is a discounted price) i think. I had to order em 3 months before June because they are rare and gunmetal is special order only. I havd to wait 4 months when i ordered gunmetals TE-37 for my Type R. Peace!!
