Note, I didnt order from Crutchfield, way overpriced, but they have lots of stats, etc.

Look forward to input, its been a few years since I put together a worthy system. I think I am going to go with Alpine Amps and the Kicker 12" VRs also.

i'm a fan of infinity speakers, but when all alpine this time around. (the stuff is on order.) which alpine amp. i ordered their f450 (5-ch). it's apparently a very popular amp. are you doing the install yourself? if not, who are you using? (since we're neighbors, i might have to use your installer if things go to your liking.)

just a heads-up...i tried getting the kappa perfect 6.1 installed in the fronts but the depth was a little too much...it may be the same with the kappa perfect 5.1s...

i decided to go with the Boston Acoustics Proseries 6.5 (after suggestion by installer) in the front and the fit was better...

the 6.1 are 6 1/2 and the 5.1 and 5 1/4 so they should fit...

the 5.1 Top-mount Depth (Inches) 2 7/16

JJ's post says (2 7/8") is max depth, so I hope I'll be alright

I really like the sound of the Infinity Perfect 6.1, and wanted to have a pair installed in the front doors…
I believe their depth is 2 5/8”…
Does anyone know for certain if these will fit or not…?

i really know nothing about stereo, other than i can play one as good as anyone else.

sooooo, do y'all think these components are mismatched?

folks are telling me that the speakers are overkill (use mb quart), and to use a clarion amp
