I'd like to here from someone with or traded the wrx 2 sti.
The magazines dont compare the two. I have read the obvious, power.
brakes,stats. I mean someone who has put 15 20k on a wrx loved the
car but now has sti and can feel the difference. IE the engine doesnt
buck and bounce around when shifting. stuff like that thanks :-?

I did the swap. The STi is better in every and I mean every way except road noise. One bad and 100+ goods =

i put 36,000 miles on my wrx before i traded it in. i only have about 250 on my sti so it's probably too early to really make the comparison. but... power is much more linear, handling is much more taut and controlled even over rough surfaces.

i'm having a little trouble getting used to the car's steering and suspension which is pretty different. going through curves i've driven a hundred times at moderate speed i find myself in slightly different places (like a foot or so off line) nothing major, but i take car control pretty seriously so it's annoying.

i haven't noticed the little stuff like the dccd, which has stayed in auto mode, or the i/c sprayer which i haven't used in anger yet. i'm sure they'll make their persence known in the future.

it's definitely a much tighter car, and a real blast to drive. only 750 miles to go...
