Hey guys,

I’ve visited this dealership to have a look at this sti several times, I haven’t test drived it yet, but I’m going to go to test drive it tomorrow and wanted to ask if there are any common problems that i can look for or assess on the sti i am purchasing.

The dealership says non-turbo, but i went to check and i saw a turbo, not sure whats happened there so im a bit suspicious. maybe i just don’t know much

Have compression and leakdown done with you present or at a third party. Check body for accidents.

+1 on prepurchase inspection from a subaru dealer/subaru licensed facility looks clean for non-turbo jk lol looks like turbo model sti they prob dont know what they have, go in with bluebook pricing in hand for base model impreza

That sure is a giant radiator on top for a non-turbo car

but yes, get a pre purchase inspection and compression/leakdown. it looks 100% stock, but looks can be deceiving.
