Hi guys!! I had my local dealer tell me that ALL his allocation of STI's will be BLUE ONLY!! For QUITE A WHILE? Anybody hear the same thing?

yeah that is correct no Stereo thank god keep price down on garbage that will get thrown out anyhow

It won't come to the dealer with a stereo, but the dealer will be more than happy to charge you to put one in.

I'm kinda glad there won't be a stereo. It forces me to put my own in. I'm kinda lazy and if the stock stereo has a cd player I won't change it out. Also not coming with a stereo makes it much easier to justify putting an aftermarket one in.

As for the color, I want the blue even though my girlfriend, sister, brother-in-law, etc. don't like it.

Irvine Subaru just called me today to pick a color, stereo option, and floormats. I asked for black but I was reading this post on http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=319891
and it seems like we're gonna get some "java black pearl" version (on the forrester)? Does anyone know if there is a brownish or goldish undertone?? Why can't Subaru just make black.

He said I'm the first black STi order so I will get it in the first month, but then again this is the biggest Subaru Dealer in North America. Hope that helps.

good question..desiree said i was #2 (ive been on it for about 1.5 years)..but then dan took over and he said i was def. in the top 10? i dunno what happened..but im on other waiting lists in CA also..

i just got a phone call from my subaru dealer, asking what color wheels i wanted on my World Rally Blue sti. Either gold or gunmetal gray. Did anybody else get a similar phone call?

I asked for gunmetal, i like gold but not as much as gunmetal

I just hope what subaru calls gunmetal is not really just some dull color grey.
