Hey guys, I am soon going to purchase a new set of coilover.
(which one? haven't decided yet)

First off, I don't mind a bit harsh ride, I can live with 8k/6k with no problem and I still think it has room to improve the body roll.

I already have Cusco front and rear swaybar (22mm)

But since body roll isn't = bad, I don't know if I should try a set of coilover with stiffer spring rate or just stick with 8k/6k

I don't know if 10k/8k spring rate will be too much on street tires with swaybars (like RT615) and I only track 1-2 times a year.

Assume the new coilover damper setting are good for 8k/6k ~ 10k/8k

I was wondering will the 10k/8k fit my need better or 8k/6k because it will lose so much traction on street tires with 10k/8k?

I'd love to have a stiffer ride but traction and grip is what I concern with street tires

I know this is really depends on personal taste, but hope someone can come in and share their thoughts.

My personal taste is to run just enough spring rate needed. I generally shy towards the softer side. IMO 10k/8k is not needed for street tires, especially RT615's.

I prefer 10k/8k. Like you said though, it is all personal taste. Everyone likes their car set up different than the next person.

I'm with Andrew on this one...

10k/8k is a lot on just street tires.

I say get 8k/6k and stiffer swaybars *IE 24mm f/r or RCE 25.5mm f/r*

how about tires like Z1, R1R or RE01R?

Are these tires worth to get a higher spring rate?

or 10k/8k are really not needed unless I get R-comp?

(ps, I run -3 camber up front because I autoX sometime....)

If you are going to be tracking only 1-2 times/year then personally I would go with a softer suspension set up (8k/6k) like previously suggested. If your daily commute finds you driving on any rough/uneven/broken roads then 10k/8k will definitely not be pleasant.

If at all possible you should try to see if anyone around you will hook you up with a ride just to experience both spring rate set ups that way you can make an informed decision for yourself.

I don't really daily drive my car and I kinda of think 8k/6k setup is totally comfortable

But since I only track it 1-2 times/year I don't know if it's worth to setup the spring rate for my track tires (R1R, RE01R)...

Since I use Z1 for my street tires and I run -3 camber up front for autoX
I don't know if 10/8k will be a better match for me

I don't need the car to be comfortable because I won't really drive it much on the road, it's like a weekend warrior only

and most will tell you 5k/4k is way too soft. i tend to agree.
