Ok,

I've got a 2005 STi with a TBE (random tech down and mid-pipes and an APEXi GT cat back) and a TurboXS short style intake. I want to get some kind of a EM for that setup. I've heard some ppl say that the AP stage II should work with my setup even though the AP Stage II is designed to work with the stock intake.

Please advise me of why, and will the AP Stage II work with my setup (without changing anything, i.e. going back to stock intake). If not, advise me of what other options I should be looking at.

Thanks

Cobb advises the stock intake or their shorty intake. u should be able to run any shorty intake seeing as it does not get enough air to lean the car out. i would keep an eye on it though since cobb only tested their shorty intake on it. but the cobb worked great on my 06

I recommend stock intake for the off the shelf map, and you can run an intake when tuned! (Will provide it's most benefit when tuned for it correctly)
