Clutch pedal creak (not squeaking)

Well when you think about the use the clutch gets, it is not surprising that it makes noise over time. First off check the back of the clutch where there will be a rubber boot on the firewall and make sure there is no fluid. Fluid would indicate a clutch master cylinder leak but honestly at your vehicle's mileage this problem would be very rare. Then you want to check the clutch linkage from the pedal all the way to the firewall. When mine starts squeaking I take some white lithium grease spray, point the nozzle right on the part I want to spray and wrap an old rag around the end so I don't get white lithium grease everywhere, then give it a couple of shots. I spray all of the pivot points on the linkage and I always spray the rubber boot area on the firewall as this seems to be the cause of most of squeaks for me anyway.
