Valvolene synthetic is a DOT-4 brake fluid that's dirt cheap. It has a higher boiling point than any other off-the-shelf DOT-4 and its dirt cheap. Sure Motul and ATE Super-Blue have higher boiling points, but they're expensive and usually you need to mail-order it. Valvolene synthetic is cheap and works great. I use it for my brakes since I don't track the car at all. I picked up two bottles for less than $10, and I needed less than 1 bottle to fully flush my entire master cylinder and brake system.
