Talked to a guy at Subaru of Beechmont today, he said that if I put down a $5000 non-refundable deposit, I would be guaranteed an STI at MSRP. He was real vague but it's obvious that we don't have long to wait. :lol:

I live close to Beechmont Subaru. I was going to talk to them soon about a deposit for an Sti...guess I'll scratch that idea now though :x
I would have a hard enough time paying msrp for a car..let alone making a 5k non-refundable deposit for a car 8+ months away.

It depends on the specs the Sti comes with. I think they'll be pretty similar..but we'll see. I would like to put a deposit on an Sti "just in case"...so I can be on the list if I don't like the Evo.

I REALLY wish I had someone that could give me some inside info. on it. It is a little easier to guess how the Sti will come over though without any sources...only real question is hp (I'm sure it'll be 261-280 though), cost, and availability.
