  :D :D

Ok you guys are probably wondering what the title meant?!?!?!

Well i went to the show on sunday the 16th, and i did manage to pull it off, i talked to the subaru associates and they did let me sit in the STi infront of a big crowd of people! DUDE it was the best feeling in the entire world, and let me tell you those seats rock! they like keep you in place and are sorta stiff, but i think there very comfortable! dude the cockpit RULES!!
I did manage to find out where the water spray button is and the DCCD control is! The water spray button is located on the compartment where on most ford cars have there headlight switch is, its sorta right there with a 3 way switch on how much water and the intermittent speed it shoots the water at! pretty nifty i thought!

The DCCD control is located right by the parking brake handle and is a dial that goes from low to high, and is outputted out on the instrument cluster in a digital reading in percentage! I did manage to get to see the gauges move back and fourth when u turn the car into the on postion and off again!

There was also a cool thing with the instrument cluster, it was blacked out, but when u turned it on, it looked badass!!!! So yea i thought id share the exciting and most gratfing experience I've ever had!!! :p

Let me tell ya after i walked off of the circuliar form, i was sweaten like a pansy and choken on every word i said! DUDe i was sooooo red and and supppppppper happy, i guess i am pretty dam lucky dont ya guys think?!?!?

Oh and yea ive heard sum more bullshit rumors which is starten to piss me off but there sayen the price range is gunna be from 36-42k range, i honestly have heard 32k from strong sources! and the fact that at the unveiling in detroit they said lower 30's! I kno0w it has to compete with the EVO but this car has alot more then the evo, but i know for a fact not worth 42k ahahhaha

peace guys!

DUUUUUDE YOU SUCK! I was standing right there when they let you sit in it. :D I came by for my last look before I left, sometime around maybe 1:00, and just finished talking to the one rep and the speaker comes on and is like, we have somone here who will be getting one of the first STi, or something like that. Then this goofy lookin dude  gets on the "stage" and gets in. I was like WTF to a friend of mine I was with. I just told the other rep how I ordered one back in October, blah blah blah, right as she walks away the speaker starts to talk and you get in. I am like, "I am getting one too!" So then I just walked away as I saw you going through the gears or something. You bastard. :p

If I knew you were there I would have looked for you and said hi.

You Chicago people suck!!! the Chicago auto show is the reason why the STi was not in Pittsburgh. Of course, I guess that is better for me as the STi is not as popular here. Anyhow, I wish I was sitting in it right now. I talked to the SOA official at the PGH auto show and she said to expect around 33000 price. I guess you can take that as a 'semi' official announcement. 36-46k sounds a bit high to me. I might have to start rethinking if that is the case.

I'm very jealous man! Very cool.

Maybe I can pull the same thing at the KC show here in a few weeks. And it had better be there! All the other crazy concepts are here....the STi should follow the crowd. Like a traveling circus....

Fastass,
Yeah, but have you driven an STi before?? AH HA!! My wife and I drove an STi ver.7 in Germany last year when they first came out. AMAZING..but I am sure it wont compare to this version..

Nice anyhow.. I just saw the facelift at the same dealer we test drove at. First time seeing the new body style.. and three words....I LOVE IT

Hmmm I actually had the chance to drive the '04 NA STi at the Petersen Preview...but then I'd have to plow the buffet tables down  If you go to my website, you'll see a pic of my hand holding the STi key while IN the car...damn what a missed opportunity!
