Yep, the WRX likes illuminating the CEL. I experienced a P0244(Turbo/Super Charger Wastegate Solenoid "A" Range/Performance), which was caused by boost creep associated with my mods. Fix? Possible wastegate porting for the safest solution. Other solutions might include a MBC, but reliability issues might occur with longterm use without engine management. The ultimate solution would be to port the wastegate and UTEC, once available.
