Need to take the whole thing off around the boot, as the bolts need to held with a 10mm (i think) wrench underneath, after that bolts and a couple plastic pins with a metal shim that holds it all together.

Why 48 offset?

The center console is made up of three pieces, which are removed in order. First is the middle piece around the e-handle. This is held by 6 plastics pins and pops off. This also has some wire connectors for the DCCD controls. Next is the front piece around the shifter. This is held by 4 plastic pins and pops off after the middle piece is off. You also need to unscrew the shift knob and unsnap the boot snap. That's all you should need to remove to replace the shift boot.

The third piece is the bottom frame and armrest. This is held by 2 screws in the armrest bin, 1 screw in the middle and 2 screws in the front.

I didn't look close to see how the boot is held on.
