I’m gonna skip all the bs with this

I have a 2013 STI Hatch (EJ257)

I went catless with HP tuners about 3 months before the green speed update was launched on Cobb. But now, I’m looking at getting a tune. I need an E-tuner specifically due to there not being a dyno or anything within 600 miles.

I need to know if there’s any tuners who can do it, if I need to go stand alone, or if I need to go back to catted cause I’m shit out of luck.

last thing I wanna do is have to drop thousands on an aftermarket ECU for my car.

Thank you, have a great day

If your state does obd2 inspection you will not pass with a standalone ecu. Most standalones do not communicate with obd2.

As far as I know hptuners, ecutek and open source are some of the only current management options that will let you disable CELs and keep your oem ecu. Not sure if there are any others tho.

We have zero emission laws where I live so I’m not worried about it. Just looking for the best possible options so I’m not throwing codes and stuck in limp mode
