What injectors do you have now? still side feeds or did you covert to top feed? And I checked for leaks as did a shop and no vaccuum leaks anywhere I am assuming it has to be fuel related.I have a 18g as well, and I had this issue awhile back when I had injector problems. So it might be a fueling problem not but necessarily injectors. I got new injectors and plugs with a new tune and the problem went away.
Also come to think of it, it might not be a fueling issue but rather a vaccuum leak as well.
Thank You i have looked into this as well cleaned mine and still had the issue swapped for a while with a friends and still motor has still been dyingI had similar issue (not on Subaru) and it was a mass air flow sensor.
Checked o2 sensor its brand newThis just came across my mind! Check O2 sensor!
camshaft sensor usually gives CEL, but couldn't hurt to check itDid anyone ever have an issue with coolant temp sensor or camshaft sensor possibly ?
hmm how frequently has it happened to you? mine is happening almost all the time i driveyour not alone on this one, my car has done it to me twice, whats interesting is that on cold starts i smell fuel on the driver side of the motor, i don't know if its related of not. also my car has a built block and bigger turbo too.
