can anyone identify this bracket?

hey guys i need your help. i know im probably going to get flamed for this, but whatever. im in the process of finishing up a turbo swap on my 04 sti and while buttoning everything up, i found this bracket under my workbench and cant remember where it goes. im pretty sure its not that important but i would like to stop pulling my hair out trying to figure out where it goes. your help is greatly appreciated.

Water tank bracket most likely. It goes under the coolant tank that's on the side of your intake manifold... that's my best guess.

thanks guys, i couldnt figure out where it went because it wont fit with my new fuel rails.

I had the same problem with my T1 top feed fuel rails. It is the water tank bracket and also holds the power steering lines in place. Be mindful of where the power steering lines sit relative to hot exhaust components without that bracket.

I wound up with this same extra mystery bracket after my side-feed to top-feed conversion project. Seemed like useless weight. Good to know though...

When I did the T1 Top Feed kit, I cut off the part of the bracket that would bolt to the TGV and reinstalled. I liked that it held my power steering lines and water tank in place.
