Bushings: Rubber vs. Polyurethane

Joey,

Wouldnt the rubber bushings eventually "release" and allow the shaft to spin freely. Would the effect be different than the poly ones as its spinning?

I am just theorizing here but I think the gif over emphasizes the amount of actual turning or spinning going on to make it easy to visualize what happens with a rubber bushing. I say this because if there were in fact enough turning/spinning going on for the "axle" to spin past where the rubber bushing "lets go", then when the "axle" spun back to the neutral starting position the rubber bushing would be at rest in it's increased spun torque position which I would image would wear out the bushing pretty quickly.
Does this make sense?
