broken motor and associated parts pile

Please see my thread, in IWSTI's forum for Warranty/Service issues, about my Subaru Love.

The last broken motor, and all of its little bits, is up for sale to anyone who has the energy and courage to come get it and bring it back to life.

I do not know what has failed in the motor, nor do I know the extent of work necessary to make it good again. Sounds a whole lot like rod knock, but I just don't know for sure; it has not been opened up.

This is definitely a "pig-in-a-poke" kind of sale, but it seems to me that it would make a nice project for someone who wants to have an STi motor, circa 2005, for their very own.

You can come see it and look at the parts; it's too heavy for me to lift from the trunk of my wife's van (and she definitely wants it out of there!!). What you see is what you get.

Maybe I can buy a new set of tires from the proceeds, who knows?
