I was just doing some informative reading and i was wondering if it is really necessary to bring extra pads to the track if mine are almost brand new stock pads? The track i will be running on os normally a go kart track/ supermotard track.

I usually bring my street pads with me just in case, but you should be fine as long as you check and make sure you have plenty of material left before you leave for the track. Just to warn you though, stock pads are NOT good on the track.

If they are new they should last you fine. I went to midohio once on my stock pads shortly after my purchase of the car and it was ok, they werent amazing, but they werent bad IMO. Good luck out there, and have fun :)

I would say to bring race pads anyway. I drive to the track on my Hawk HPS+ pads just cause its easier to do brakes stuff on a lift at work. I don't know how good the stock STi pads are but I would wonder how they would do slowing that thing down from high speeds many times in a session.....
