So going out on the Exterior wise of the car...


been looking at diffusers and been looking at some lip spoilers.


i am still up in the air about whether or not to go Roof Vane or not.


So far i'm thinking


Roof Vane, a nice diffuser Prob HKS or Seibon, and a Mines Lip Spoiler.


hard to find a pic of all that though.
**** the roof vane. You'd be good with just a spoiler. The one day it snowed here I got so damn pissed at the rattling of the ice between the vane and the window.... I cant imagine having to put up with that for months in colder states.

I dunno man.. the roof vane looks so awesome i think.

i dont want to do Limited lip anymore, because everyone has that shizz now.

But the limited lip is so sexy. Who cares if a bunch of people on the forum have it... The chance of seeing someone on the street with the same color and wing combo is slim.... I see only one sti every month or so (then again I live in the south).

Its not so much because everyone has it.


I grew outta wanting that. The mines Lip is so sexy. I think that with or without the roof vane will be so sick.

I think i even might get it molded just to make it look that much better.

The mines lip is pretty cool. IMO the vane is just extra weight... even the difuser. You need to look in to droping some weight if you want to beat that record. :tup:

This is for putting around town.

Next time i'm at the track, i'm losing everything on the inside. Hell i might even roll with no catback.

i lost a great amount of weight by getting rid of the sti spoiler... a Carbon Fiber diffuser and a small carbon fiber lip spoiler won't do much for weight gain.

the record was on e85.

not sure about the tires.

as far as me i'll be running hoosier DR's and 93+Meth.

Don't bother with meth to break the stock turbo record. You're going to need race gas, or probably E85 to even get close to the record. A local shop just went 10.97 on the stock turbo. I'm building a car that will be a contender for that record, but the motor is not exactly your average Subaru build. Good luck though!

Meth would be the equivalent of running race-gas, so if im a fool for it, then your f ool for running race gas.

What shop did that. I would love to see this link.
