Need to re-open this can of forms. What is the best? My 2005 is stock and low mileage, but has been running subaru dealer full synthetic 5W30 its entire life. I changed the oil with the same stuff, figured the car wouldnt like change. My 2016 STI i only used Pennziol ultra plat. 5W30, and every other car i have owned (many VW's, ms3, focus RS) ONLY got liquimoly (ford motorcraft for the RS)
What is the best option today? Would the more advanced Liqui Moly oils even be good use in these cars? My gut says stick with the subaru OEM (Idemitsu still makes it?) but wanted to see what some of the OG's think
