I have a 2012 WRB STi, so I wasn't able to get the gold BBS wheels and instead have gunmetal. This may be futile, as I see it's been asked at least once with no real answers. I'm looking to get my BBS professionally refinished in gold, but would like to match the BBS gold as closely as possible.
I have a few questions related to that. Is the gold on the 04-07 wheels the same as the gold on the 08-10 wheels? If not, which shade do people think looks better? I also own 17" Enkei RPF1s in gold, how similar is the BBS gold to these? If it's close, I can just have them match the RPF1s.
Before I start getting suggestions of using the Grimspeed paint, I don't want to rattle-can these...a cheaper wheel I probably would though. If anyone actually has a gold paint code that I could take to the painter, that would be great. Otherwise, I need to find some accurate pictures of the appropriate gold to take to them.
