I am considering getting some PFF7s, as a winter set, and I'd like those better. So, would it be a bad idea if I used the BBS as a winter set, and risk anything? Thank you guys, any input would be great!
I opted not to use mine just to avoid banging them into a curb if I got out of shape.... if they used salt on the roads up here I would be even less inclined to use them. Awful expensive wheels, I'd rather trash something cheap.
I snagged a set of the Rota Tarmac IIs to use for snows.
Ultimately I'm going to want two sets of wheels - winter and summer. The summer wheels will most likely be lighter and a bit wider. Unless someone makes me a burning offer for the stock wheels (unlikely) I'll probably just keep them for winter.
In terms of retail value the summer wheels will probably end up being less expensive, but NBD. If I could have bought the car with cheaper wheels I might have done that. As it is, it's not really worth the effort of getting a third set.
