Changed out my OEM radiator for a Koyo OEM replacement and installed new Subaru OEM upper and lower hoses and OEM spring clamps....took 2 hours taking my time. Anyway just realized today that I put the new upper hose on with the arrow pointing towards the block instead of having that end on the radiator. Fits fine. So are the arrows basically to show the direction of flow of coolant? I assume it can install either way?
I'd have to cut it off to remove it as it is really on there, and then get a another one if these are only supposed to go on one way. Obviously I dont mind if I have to. The bottom hose installs with the arrow pointing to the thermostat housing. that one was easy since I left it attached at the radiator end when I removed the radiator. LOL

I am somewhat obsessed with keeping things looking as original as possible, I even transfered the rubber seal at the bottom of the original radiator to the Koyo, and I will probably use a heat gun to remove the yellow and silver decals from the original top tank to the Koyo top tank. So even if its OK to install that top hose either way, it will bug me a bit that the arrow on the hose is not on the radiator inlet since it is visible. LOL
