Thanks for the reply. When the smaller version comes out I will be in line. If I go off my rocker I will get the tsr70, but the supporting mods will divorce me from my wife ( stroker/cosworth heads/ bla bla ).

The TSR 70 install instructions will be available in approx 2 weeks time and these instructions will cover all fitment issues including any that impact on the power steering lines. I'll post these install instructions the moment that they're available.

Thought I should post some info here from another thread about the TSR70
http://www.iwsti.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64181

The APS TSR 70 system is prices as follows,

1) TSR 70 system which includes a TIAL 44 mm wastegate and all water coling, oil supply and pwer steering lines in braided stainless steel teflon lined hose assemblies. - $3395

2) APS 321 SS Twin scroll headers - $795

3) APS cold air intake system with 65 or 80 mm MAF - $495

Total - $4685

The APS TSR 70 turbo with the larger .82 A/R twin scroll turbine housing produces 19.21 PSI at 3500 rpm approx. :)

The higher boost at 3500 RPM that David mentioned at SEMA (21 PSI) was generated by utlising a smaller .63 A/R twin scroll housing on the TSR 70 turbo though APS engineers decided to specify the larger .82 A/R twin scroll turbine housing to ensure plenty of high rpm power for the STI engine, hope that helps. :naughty:

Wasn't it supose to come with the CAI and just about everything for $3,000? And still no dyno numbers to show a stock STi reading, and then the same one with this system!

Just out of curiosity, has anyone confirmed if you have to have the aps header for this kit or not? For instance, what if I have a different jdm twin scroll header I want to use? Or a stock jdm twin scroll?
i ask peter a similar question.

he wasn't able to confirm the aps uppipes working with non aps headers

The up pipe of the TSR 70 system will only bolt up to the APS header as far as I know...................so yes you need the APS twin scroll headers.
