Which do you like better and why? I've used ZAINO before on my RS, and it works really well- however I like the idea of Griots "kits" where you can buy everything you need at once and save some money...

Does that stuff actually work better then the upscale stuff you can purchase at the local Canadian Tire (Canadian for Pep-boys hehe)?

I have heard way too many people say they just love Zainos and you won't understand the difference until you try it.

Haven't heard a thing about Groits. The observation I can make is that every item Groit's sells seems to be 3x as expensive as something you can buy elsewhere.

"Best Hose Nozzle - $50" Uh...I'll use my not-quite-best nozzle from Target for $5, thank you!

Yeah Groits is expensive but they have nice stuff. I have not used their products but have used Zaino. On black Zaino is amazing. Not sure what I will use on my STi. Either Zaino or Klasse. Might try one this year and other next to see what works better.

Both Griots and Zaino make fine products. Their stuff is that much better than the stuff at Canadian Tire, but if you are not willing to put in a lot of time you won't see a huge difference. BTW, Zaino doesn't make a single polish. If you have OCD or just like your car really clean, I would recommend www.autopia.org . It is a forum dedicated to detailing, but a warning : your car looks terrible next to the good ones there.

I recommend Griot's products. I don't mind paying for a quality product. Yes, I think any nozzle or hose will do but I really like Griot's brushes, cleaners, polishes, and especillay the carnuba wax. I have used Griot's for many years and have always been satisfied.

Either Griots, Zaino Bros. or Klasse and you won't go wrong. I prefer Zainos products since they all work well together (chemically designed to do so) and have produced the best results for me.

Griot's has a lot of stuff when it comes to accessories that I like. I have their chamois, micro fiber towels and brushes and I would recommend them.

While I enjoy looking through their catalog I do get the impression that they are a catalog company first and a car care product company second... I wonder if they actually make their own car care products or just buy them and mark the price up for resale. The last catalog I received from them had "Griots BBQ Sauce" for crying out loud.

I would go to the Zaino Bros. website, give them a call and see what you think. They were very helpful the time that I called. The website has tons of info on each product they have as well as a instructions for its use so you can get an idea on the amount of work required to use their stuff.

Another great company is Autopia Car Care. They carry a lot of German products like Klasse. Good info too.

There are some accesories that Griot's just puts their name on. However, I know they make most of their own care car products because I have been to the warehouse (only 15 mins from my house) and have seen the manufacturing line - pretty cool actually.

Thanks for the info on Zainos and Autopia. I will check them out as well.

Happy "WAX-ON, WAX-OFF".

Thanks! That's good to know. Speak of the devil, I just got another catalog from them today.

If you can get away with not having to pay the outrageous marked-up shipping  , Griot's products would be a bit more reasonable!

I have been receiving their catalogs for a while now. I am really drooling over the new one I just got the other day and getting some good ideas since I just signed a purchase agreement on a townhouse. I would love to deck out the garage with some stuff in their cataloge but their prices are kind of high. I will probably use it like I use my Crutchfield catalogs, just for research to decide what I want then go and find it cheaper.
