Thanks to all of you who have posted information about how excellent this car is. I plan to buy one next year.

I live in Stamford, CT and would love to get a ride in an STi, however, I can't hop in one @ the local dealers unless I'm planning to buy now. Anyone planning any STi meets around here? I'd really like to see how the car drives, as a passenger, of course.

Hey STiLust - I can probably help you out. I have a freshly broken in (1380 miles and did my 1k oil change this weekend) STi and am in the area. I work in New Canaan and commute to Monroe - usually out around 5:30-6:30 on weeknights if you wanted to head North a bit. PM me if it'll work and we'll go for a spin.

Well - I just met my first fellow member and what a rewarding experience! STiLust - it was truly a pleasure. I'd just like to encourage anyone who has an oppty. to give a fellow "STi nut" a first ride to DO SO! StuBrown, thanks again. Truly excellent of you to take the time to take me out in your ride. I cannot believe how hard the car rules! It's an awesome ride. Thanks again. Very cool of you. I'll let you know when I get mine (or the next gen Legacy with 2.5 turbo engine).
