Hiya everyone! I've been loving the ever-loving hell out of my new-to-me '13 STi. What a hoot. Just did it's first oil change under my ownership as well! Woohoo! lol.

During my first big wash of the car (paint correction included, pics to come soon) I noticed there's some weird rust forming on the doors. It's super strange and I haven't ever seen anything like it. I can't imagine it being very hard to fix, but I was just curious if anyone has had similar issues with rust in this area.

It's strange too, all the usual rust spots in this car are spotless. There isn't rust concerns anywhere except in this spot. It's identical on both passenger and driver side doors as well.

I would purchase a paint meter from Amazon (best under $100 purchase I ever made as a car guy) and test each panel. Check to see if the paint reads as original. That does not look normal to me and that area should not be rusting like that
