Few tanks through since I last logged so I gave it a whirl again. Seeing some interesting results.
'11 STI - 94 Petro Canada Fuel in Canada
ACN91 Stage one Cobb OTS Map

Sport Mode - Back to back runs, same road (Down and turned around)
DAM stays at 1. No Fine Knock. Does show Fine Knock Learn and a slight timing correction. Both logs recorded within 2 mins of eachother

S# Mode - Two logs, back to back. Middle of the road which was a smoother then the first. First log shows minor Fine knock learning values. Second log is crystal clear. Both logs were recorded within 1 min of eachother

Run 1
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...1E&usp=sharing

Run 2
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...UE&usp=sharing

All 4 runs were logged within a 10 minute window

a Protune is in the cards for the January timeframe. Thoughts?

I don't think there's much to worry about there as the first log shows a bit of minor timing retard adjustment via the Fine Knock Learn. According to Cobb you only need worry if the value is greater than +/-2.

I wouldn't be too concerned about single counts of fine knock learning (-1.4), unless they are covering a wider range of the WOT run or get worse. Fine knock learning is a bit tricky to determine when you are currently knocking as it will be re-applied to a load/rpm range surrounding the original event. So, you see corrections that are not current knock events.
You can add Knock Sum parameter to your log to determine if fine knock learning is current or not. Don't be concerned with the knock sum values themselves - they are meaningless, but look at when they increment during your WOT run. That is a current perceived knock event. You can use that to better see what is happening now vs. what is just a learned previous correction via fine knock learning.
