Well for those of you that are curious, removing the entire A/C system will save exactly 22lbs. off your car. I know because I just did so and weighed everything just for you! This includes, the compressor, all hoses, hardware and the evaporator.

No, but it also removes some spinning force off the belts that drive the AC. Kinda like adding an underdrive pulley.

22 lbs. is less than what most people would say they saved, but it is still 22lbs. no longer on the car. The reduction in load from no longer spinning the compressor and idler (even when the A/C isn't on) is probably a better savings. I don't have an UD pulley yet, but the car does seem to rev slightly faster.

combine that with some stuff and you have some serious weight drop, lightweight pulley, JDM bumper beam, A/c ... thats what ? about 50lbs or so? Thats some serious weight. Nice find uberwagon. Im glad to know the exact amount :) I kinda wanna do it now.
