Hey guys,
Before I start piecing up my bolt-ons, I’d like to confirm which TIAL I should go with... I see some ppl run 38, others run 44mm?
I only plan to run the following mods:
  • Cobb SF Intake
  • Invidia Catless DP
  • Cobb 1050cc Injectors
  • AEM Fuel Pump
  • Grimmspeed ECBS
  • Accessport

Tial 38mm ewg would be fine. Ive had my 38mm ewg for years with similar mods on stock turbo. I think there is some kind of re commendation on here somewhere a bout this.

Stock turbo, high boost: 38mm
Large turbo, low boost: 44mm

Something along those lines....

I might just run the 44 since I do plan on upgrading the turbo down the road.

the 44mm on stock turbo won’t be a problem right?

uograding to what turbo? I run a 38mm on a 20g making 377whp currently no issues. I’m sure my Ewg would be perfectly fine on bigger turbos too. Just depends on how big.

I was thinking the same 20G.. but thanks for that info, good to know
If you want a 20g or even the dom1.5 or 2.5, you won’t need anything bigger than the 38mm tial setup. My 20g is a blouch 20g xtr. 3” inlet, 8cm hotside. It’s on a built motor and running 23 psi (I have run 25 in the past. Dont do that if you aren’t built lol) and I’ve had the Ewg for 6 ish years. It’s never given me any issue.
