It's all about priorities "show". The Z is a sweet car, both looks and performance for the price. For me, I need as much performance for the buck I can get, something I can drive everyday, something I can pick up my two kids in, something I can take skiing. The STi is the ultimate and it's affordable. I don't need a beauty queen and I can't afford a Porsche GT2, so the STi it is. You gotta do what's right for you.

My best friend has a 350z, and it is indeed hella-sweet. A little too cramped for me but he is a very small-statured vietnamese guy so he doesn't even notice. Only one problem, it is a (I think) god awful baby-diarrhea orange color. Guess it could be worse, could have bass-boat sparkles as well....

if the place you're living is sunny and nice weather the whole time, then that's good to know, but up north here I always say to myself "I need to have fun with my car all year around when I'm working hard for it everyday"

if 350 seats 4 and 2 door, I'll go for it for sure.

Z350 is only 2 seater.. G35 coupe is 4/5 seater..
G35 IS better looking, has better inifinity service, more features and a SLIGHTLY higher price than Z350..
I'd take G35 coupe over z350 any day... u lose a few hp (270 for coupe, 287 for Z) but u gain a LOT more, including a more compliant ride...
Soon G35 coupes will be going for slightly over invoice (in the beginning it was impossible to get one even @ MSRP).. Demand is dropping..
Both great cars though..

But have you sat in the back seat of a g35? I'm 5-7 and I can sit up straight in the car cause the rear window is in the way...only really comfortable for small adults or kids...which is what I assume you'll get a g35 coupe for...never sat in the sedan. :)

350Z is a great car, and there is nothing wrong with choosing it over the STi. I will definately be looking forward to seeing 350Z's, RX8's, G35's, and any other cars of that stature, on the road and in the dealer lots when I get back to the states.

yep, lookin at the car is like checkin out a hot chick. drivin it is like...well, u get the picture. the dealers that have contacted me have been awesome, and they r quotin way under msrp, so i'm really thinkin about it. i mean, i haven't even showed up at any dealership yet; i'm sure i'll b drivin away with one for invoice. u can't beat gettin a z for that. and as for color, i'm thinkin about that brickyard color. what do u guys think?

just found out...
G35 sedan gonna add AWD option for 2004, coupe is probably also...
Also factory supercharger is coming probably, good for around 320Hp..
Stihllen supercharger is almost complete and adds 80-100 Hp to G35/Maxima/Z350
Exhaust is 15hp for $1000.... from the same company..
Looks like G35 is taking over market.. It will be more expensive than Sti, but well worth the price if u on the market for such a coupe..

I would go with the G35 coupe over the 350Z any day of the week. Why? For a couple thousand less (compared to 350Z Track model):

You loose 7 Horsepower
You gain maybe a hundred pounds if not less
You still get the Brembos :)

The last part is key
