Hi All:

Auto Express has a new teaser article out where they will test several cars head to head including a Prodrive UK spec STi making 300 bhp and Euro spec EVO8. Anyway in the bit on the STi says it does 0-60 mph in 4.6 s

The US spec should do at least that or maybe more as no torque figures but you gotta think the 2.5 will have more.

Here is a 320HP WRX running a 4.4/12.9 in the 1/4 mile. I think this may be real close to our 300HP STi 8)

The APS RT Spec kit (320 hp) quoted 4.35 and 12.8, but torque isn't really mentioned. The 2.5 will obviously help the 0-60 time; these times don't seem out of reach. These are Corvette/M3 territory.

The M2 car is nice, but check out the final price: $38,915. Even if you get rid of the Sparcos, you're still well over the (presumed) price of the STi, and you don't have the DCCD and 6 speed. Just another indicator of hte value of the STi.
