So after two years owning a Forester sti, I thought it was time to try my hand at the Impreza STI. I really wanted the Hawkeye version at first but after trying out the '08 sti the balance between comfort and performance won me over.

The car its self is a JDM '08 Impreza STI, so it has the 2ltr twin scroll engine.

Where it all started

First mod was the wheels. I had these O.Z. Ultraleggera 18 x 9 lying around so I decided to respray them in gloss black and throw them on the car..

Completely loved them...

Improving the somewhat soft handling characteristics of the GRB was my next priority so I opted for Whiteline Front / rear Sway Bars, links and top Mounts and Cusco Power Braces.

One of my favourite mods so far. It wasn't cheap and it took a while to get it from Japan but it was definitely worth it. Also with all the dust here it keeps the intake pretty clean.

Thanks,. There are quite a few now, most performance cars here are JDM imports, so there are plenty of STI's and evo's.

Decided to paint the callipers silver to match the body and to help them stand out a bit more. Really happy with the results..

In my quest for a super clean engine bay, I purchased the Password JDM carbon fibre battery, fuse box and power steering covers. They make a massive difference and really go well with the HKS Carbon Fibre air box and duct.
The fitment of the Password JDM parts is also spot on.

Had to do some trimming to make the power steering cover fit with the Cusco Brake cylinder stopper but it came out really well.
