Argh, can you explain that 40 minute video please?
-keep turbo in vacuum (no boost at all) with a very gently throttle

-time the lights best you can so that you do not sit there idling for minutes on red

that is really what it comes down to. my theory was turning the car into what it is, a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder econobox by not using the turbo. no tire inflation tricks or any other bullshit, just driving sensible. basically try thinking it like this, if you leave for work ahead of time you will end up driving like this but if you leave for work as late as possible then you will be rushing to work. now of course, if you are in rush hour or every red light catches you then you will not get 28 mpg in this car or any other car for that matter.

I've just spent the last week over in Europe. I've done a track day at Spa Francorchamps and one at the Nurburgring. Vids below if you're bored! I know none of it is perfect and I don't claim to be the next F1 driver!



Oh, and just incase you were wondering, I got 147mph on the back straight! Was a little scary turning it into the next corner!
