Hey guys,
Need some help locating the camshaft position sensor on my 17 STI ( are there 2?). I've tried searching and have a vague picture in the service manual, but I'm still having a hard time figuring out exactly where it is.
This weekend we installed the COBB Turboback and flashed the OTS Stage2 map on my 17 STI. Everything went well and I drove the car last night without any issues, but today after shifting from 2nd in higher RPMs to 3rd my CEL came on. Car is bone stock with Cobb DP and Cat back.
The code is P0341 - Camshaft Position Sensor 'A' Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
I've cleared the code and tried driving around a bit and the CEL doesn't come back on as long as I didn't take the RPMs too high in any gear, but as soon as I get up above 4k+ and then shift the CEL comes back on with the same code...? So i'd like to get eyes on the sensor and see if we did something to it or the harness to make it malfunction. No noticeable stumbling or misfiring or anything that I can tell..
Any help would be very much appreciated. Would love if somebody has a picture of where this thing is!
