yes. its a great feeling.Ooooh, extra mod money!
Congrats! It must be a good feeling!
I've been having issues with my AF correction being really high. +14% sometimes at idle. I've done numerous boost leaks and found nothing but the car still ran great. Last time I did a leak test in Sept. of last year, I thought I could hear a leak near the turbo but due to the way my intercooler piping goes under my intake manifold I thought it was the air flowing through that.
I ordered a bunch from RSD since they are in Utah and its fast shipping, so hopefully by this weekend my car will be leak free and Jason won't shoot me
Was your AF learning also reflecting a leak? or was that normal?Glad you're getting this sorted and that you're a customer that is diligent on finding and fixing your problem, while understanding that tunes don't just change drastically like that.
Good point. I seem to mix them upWas your AF learning also reflecting a leak? or was that normal?
I think the last time I had chatted with you guys on here, yamaha had said he tends to ignore AF correction due to its volatility. My LTFT (AF learning equivalent since I don't have a Cobb AP) hasn't crested +/-5% since fixing my last boost leak at the turbo -> IC elbow hose, but I've seen a lot of movement in STFT/AF Correction regardless where my AF Learning is.
No worries! I had seen mention of AF correction issues starting to pop up on nasioc too and wasn't sure if I was missing something with diagnosis.Good point. I seem to mix them up
I actually meant my AF Learning 1 is +14%, not correction.
I tore it all down, and everything looks really good from my eye. Cross hatching still on cylinders and the pistons don't even have a ton of wear from the slap. the side skirts are still in pretty good shapeNo worries! I had seen mention of AF correction issues starting to pop up on nasioc too and wasn't sure if I was missing something with diagnosis.
Any status updates on that blown shortblock you picked up? Were the cylinders still ok despite the condition of the crank and rod bearings? Was unsure how that'd play into eligibility for closed-deck treatment.
