I very highly doubt it. And even if they fit, the spring rate will likely cause issues.
2012 base model Impreza lowering springs on an 09 sti???
so I got a sick deal on some 2012 Impreza springs and I was wondering if they’d fit on my 09 stis struts, anyone try this and will it work?????

Makes sense, might just buy coils and get some money off theseSprings are the cheapest part of suspension upgrades. Idk how "sick" this deal was but I'd buy the correct springs. Like @Karlot pointed out spring rates for a base Impreza will be way softer than an STi...
If you’re looking at coils, you’re going to more than quadruple the cost vs a quality set of springs. I’d highly suggest getting a quality entry level setup (Cygnus, fortune, ohlins, etc). And staying away from brands like bc and stance and tein which are not that high of quality. For an entry level setup, expect to be slightly under 2k for coils. Vs 350-400 for a quality set of springs.Makes sense, might just buy coils and get some money off these
